Lauren completed her joint degree in civil and common law at McGill University. During law school, she was the Editor-in-Chief of the McGill Law Journal and a Student Advocate with the McGill chapter of the International Refugee Assistance Project. She has received several awards, including the Alex Woo Prestige Entrance Scholarship, the Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP Scholarship, and Dean’s Honour List recognition.
Lauren also holds an M.A. in French Studies from New York University, as well as a B.A. in French from the University of Oklahoma. Before coming to McGill, Lauren worked as an assistant paralegal at a leading immigration law firm in New York. Her interests include yoga, hiking, travel photography, and jazz music.
