Lauren recently completed her second year at the University of Victoria Faculty of Law. She received a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from the University of British Columbia in 2022. Lauren worked for Canada Border Services Agency throughout her undergraduate degree, and spent a summer in Spain as a legal intern for Villarreal CF. 

At the University of Victoria, Lauren is an executive of the FemLaw club and a senior editor of Canadian Law Review. Lauren was also a Pro Bono Students Canada volunteer with Indigenous Perspectives Society. Last summer, Lauren returned to Canada Border Services Agency as a student hearings officer, representing the Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness in admissibility hearings and detention reviews before the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada. 

Lauren enjoys spending weekends watching horse races at Hastings Racecourse and keeping up with Formula 1. Lauren is also an avid reader and coffee aficionado.
