Laura holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Political Science and Philosophy from Memorial University of Newfoundland. She is currently completing a BCL/JD degree at McGill’s Faculty of Law. She has a particular interest in litigation, health law, as well as public law.
During her studies, Laura acted as a Research Assistant for the legal team at St. Justine hospital in Montreal. She has also been involved with the Legal Information Clinic at McGill for the past three years and was a Director at the clinic during her third year of studies.
As an involved member of her community, Laura is proud to have been a part of the L.E.X. program which offers legal rights workshops for youth in the Montreal area.
As someone who is an avid cook, Laura enjoys hosting dinner parties and trying her hand at new dishes for her guests.
Laura is fluent in French, English and Spanish.
