Laura Alford is an Associate in our Real Property and Planning Group in Toronto. She maintains a general commercial real estate practice.

Laura joined McCarthy Tétrault as a student in 2018. She received her B.C.L./LL.B from McGill University in 2019. During law school, Laura was the Executive Coordinating Editor of the McGill Law Journal and a research assistant to Professor Lionel D. Smith. She contributed to publications through the Paul-André Crépeau Centre for Private and Comparative Law, and was a founding member of McGill’s Food Law Society. Laura also holds a B.A. (Hons.) in English and French from the University of Saskatchewan.

Laura was called to the Ontario bar in 2020, and is a member of the Law Society of Ontario, the Canadian Bar Association, and the Ontario Bar Association.
