Kristy Foreman is Interim Director, Professional Resources and is responsible for managing student recruitment processes for the firm. Kristy is based in Vancouver, but works on recruitment processes across offices.

Kristy has worked in recruitment and legal talent management for a diverse set of employers over the past 12 years: the Federal government, a large national firm and a mid-size firm in Vancouver and Toronto. Kristy practiced as a Tax litigator with the Department of Justice before changing her focus to legal talent management in 2009. Kristy graduated from Queen’s University Faculty of Law in 1997. After articling in Ontario and BC, she was called to the BC bar in 1999.

Kristy is also the founder and principal of ForeReach Consulting, a legal talent management business she has been operating since October 2020. Through her business, Kristy has provided services to law firms, lawyers, law students and law schools across the country.

Kristy is currently a member of the NALP Diversity Equity & Inclusion Committee and the Canadian Centre for Diversity & Inclusion (CCDI). In 2021, she completed the CCDI’s Foundations in Diversity & Inclusion and Anti-Racism certificates. After a rigorous qualification process, Kristy obtained her Canadian Certified Inclusion Professional (CCIP) designation in February 2022.

When not working, Kristy enjoys spending time with her husband and their four teenagers, boating and playing sports at their property on Hatzic Lake, watching Marvel movie matinees on the big screen and chaotic family game nights.
