Kate Macdonald is an associate in our Litigation Group in Vancouver. She maintains a general civil litigation practice and has experience in a range of areas including commercial, contractual and real estate disputes.
Kate received her JD from the University of British Columbia in 2013, where she was the recipient of numerous academic and legal writing awards, as well as a research fellowship. While earning her JD, she volunteered with various organizations including the Careers Committee and the Law Students’ Legal Advice Program. She continues to be actively involved in pro bono and other volunteer endeavors. Recently, she contributed to the firm's Mining in the Courts publication (released in March 2016) as Assistant Editor.
Following law school, Kate completed a clerkship at the British Columbia Supreme Court, where she clerked for seven judges in New Westminster and Vancouver. She was called to the British Columbia bar and is a member of the Law Society of British Columbia, the Canadian Bar Association, and the Vancouver Bar Association.
