Kaelyn is an associate in the Financial Services Group. She was called to the Alberta Bar in 2024 after completing her summer and articling terms at the firm’s Calgary office. She has a particular focus on transactions involving project finance structures and Indigenous stakeholders.
Kaelyn graduated from McGill University with a Bachelor of Civil Law and a Juris Doctor. She was an Executive Editor for Rooted, McGill’s Indigenous law publication, as well as a two-term Executive Committee member of the McGill Business Law Association. Prior to law school, she operated a tutoring business while earning her Bachelor of Arts in English with distinction from the University of Calgary.
Kaelyn has experience working with academic publications, government committees, and businesses of all sizes, bringing an intersectional and entrepreneurial perspective to her work. She is fluent in both French and English, and enjoys learning additional languages in her spare time.
