Joseph Gagnon is an associate in the Business Law Group at the Québec City office. His practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, securities and general corporate legal matters.
Joseph completed his law degree at Laval in 2022. During his law studies, he was a research assistant in contract law. Before studying law, Joseph completed a Business Administration degree in 20220 during which he was a teaching assistant for the finance course. During this degree, he studied one year at the National Chengchi University in Taiwan and a semester at the École supérieure des sciences commerciales d'Angers in Shanghai. These stays allowed him to develop knowledge of trade with Asia and Mandarin.
Passionate about sports and expeditions, Joseph became, in 2017, the youngest ocean rower to row across the North Atlantic Ocean from Canada to Ireland. This experience, which allowed him to develop his project management skills, was inspired by a first Atlantic crossing under sail in 2012.
