Jean‑Nicolas Bissonnette is the Director of Professional Resources for the Quebec Region. In this capacity, he is responsible for the summer student, articling student and junior member programs for the offices of Montréal and Québec City. His areas of expertise include professional development, recruitment and talent management. He is also a member of the Professional Resources Committee and the Student Committee for the Quebec Region.
Before joining McCarthy Tétrault, Mr. Bissonnette practised labour and employment law in a specialized firm. Prior to that, he completed his articling period with another national law firm.
Mr. Bissonnette holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from the Université de Montréal and a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Osgoode Hall Law School at York University. He was called to the Quebec Bar and to the Ontario Bar.
In his spare time, Jean-Nicolas enjoys cooking, volleyball and rooting for the Habs.
