Javeria has recently completed her Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) at the University of Montreal. Prior to her legal studies, she completed a DEC in Social Sciences with distinction at Collège Jean-de-Brébeuf.
Javeria completed a clerkship at the Quebec Court of Appeal’s during her last year of law school. She was able to contribute to the drafting of judgments and participate in the rendering of justice in the province. Receiving several academic awards, she was also selected as a finalist for the Governor General’s Academic Medal.
Javeria has previously worked in a law firm specialized in litigation. She has also participated in several research projects and volunteered for the Clinique Juridique Itinérante, as well as the Centre de recherche-action sur les relations raciales.
During her time at the University of Montreal, Javeria was actively involved as a mentor, tutor and academic representative. She has obtained numerous scholarships and prizes highlighting her community involvement and academic achievements.
