Jamie is an associate in our Energy Law Group in Calgary and the National Environmental, Regulatory and Aboriginal Group and National Oil and Gas Group. Her practice focuses on energy (including electricity and oil and gas), regulatory, and environmental law.
Jamie holds an LLM from the University of Calgary specialized in Natural Resources, Energy and Environmental Law. She recently completed her thesis on the duty to consult within the Canadian Environmental Assessment Act, 2012. She completed her JD at the University of Kent.
Jamie completed an undergraduate degree at the University of Calgary, focused on indigenous studies. She has also completed the Aboriginal Relations and Leadership Program at the University of Calgary.
Prior to practicing law, she gained experience within the oil and gas industry while working for several years in an analyst role for major Canadian oil and gas services company in Calgary, AB.
Jamie is a member of the Law Society of Alberta, the Calgary Bar Association and the Canadian Bar Association.
