Jacob is an associate in our Business Law Group in Calgary. His practice is focused on banking and financial services.
Jacob acts for lenders and borrowers, including Canadian financial institutions, foreign banks, private lenders, governmental bodies, partnerships, and corporations. These clients participate in a number of industries, including private equity, real estate, energy and natural resources, infrastructure, hospitality, and other diversified sectors.
Jacob helps clients complete a range of financing transactions, including project financing, acquisition financing, real estate financing, asset-based financing, mezzanine financing, and syndicated loans.
Jacob received his law degree from the University of New Brunswick. He also holds a Bachelor of Science (Neuroscience and Economics) from the University of King’s College and a Master of Business Administration from Saint Mary’s University. Jacob is a member of the Law Society of Alberta, the Calgary Bar Association, the Nova Scotia Barristers’ Society and the Canadian Bar Association.
