Ivor received his J.D. from Western University, where he was awarded the A.B. Siskind Scholarship for the highest academic standing in the third year of the J.D. program. He also received the Torys LLP Award in Business Law for the highest standing in business law courses. Prior to law school, Ivor earned his Bachelor of Engineering degree and held roles across the aerospace manufacturing, civil infrastructure and financial services industries. Most recently, Ivor worked in the finance division of a global automotive manufacturer, with a focus on artificial intelligence technology project management.
While at law school, Ivor represented Western Law nationally at the 2018 Canadian National Negotiation Competition. Ivor was also selected through Western Law’s Internship Program to work as a legal intern at the Basketball Arbitral Tribunal in Munich, Germany, where he performed research on a breadth of sports governance and arbitration issues.
In his spare time, Ivor is an avid basketball fan and enjoys travelling, coding and learning about technology.
