Holly received her JD with Honours from the University of Toronto, where she was awarded the Michael J. Moldaver Prize for highest standing in third year. Prior to law school, Holly received her BA (Hons) in Political Studies with distinction from Queen’s University and her MPhil in International Relations and Politics with distinction from the University of Cambridge (King’s College).
Throughout her time at law school, Holly was an avid mooter. She mooted in the 2018 Gale Cup and was a student coach for the faculty’s Gale Cup team in 2019. In her third year, she mooted in the faculty’s Grand Moot. Holly was also a member of the Moot Court Committee. Holly’s mooting experience built on her background in competitive debate. As an undergraduate student, Holly reached the Final of the Canadian National Debate Championship, the Semi-Finals of the North American Debate Championship, and Octo-Finals of the World University Debate Championship.
Holly was a member of the Senior Board of both the Faculty of Law Review (2018-2019) and the Journal of International Law and International Relations. During her second and third year, Holly assisted self-represented litigants at Pro Bono Ontario, where she was the student volunteer coordinator in her third year. In her third year, Holly was an academic advisor in the faculty’s Academic Success Program.
In her spare time, Holly enjoys working out, listening to podcasts, and baking.
