Hayley completed her Juris Doctor with Honours at the University of Toronto Faculty of Law. She previously graduated from McMaster University with an Honours Bachelor of Arts and Science.
Hayley has been an active member of the University of Toronto community. She was a University of Toronto Law Student Ambassador, a student mentor, and a volunteer with Pro Bono Ontario through Pro Bono Students Canada. Hayley also participated in competitive mooting and represented the University of Toronto in the 2018 Wilson Moot where the team placed second overall. In 2019, Hayley coached the University of Toronto moot teams for both the Wilson Moot and the Willms & Shier Environmental Law Moot. She previously worked as a Casebook Research Assistant at the Faculty of Law, a lifeguard, and a teaching assistant. Hayley also volunteered throughout her undergraduate and law degrees as a swim instructor with SWAM Hamilton and SWAM Toronto, teaching swimming lessons to children with special needs.
In her spare time, Hayley enjoys balancing her love of baking with various fitness activities including weightlifting and swimming.
