Hayley dives headfirst into complex issues and provides practical and strategic advice
Hayley is an associate in our Litigation Group in Toronto. She maintains a broad litigation practice with a focus on infrastructure, construction, professional liability, product liability, and estates law. Hayley is also on the organizing committee for the Warren K. Winkler Class Actions Moot.
Hayley represents and advises businesses, government agencies, organizations, and individuals in matters of project disputes, project litigation, applications, and regulatory/advisory matters. Hayley also defends the interests of physicians who are faced with allegations of professional negligence.
Hayley received her Juris Doctor with Honours (top 10%) from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law where she was an active member of the student community. Hayley assisted clients with Pro Bono Students Canada in both the civil litigation and family law program. Hayley also participated in competitive mooting and represented the University of Toronto in the 2018 Wilson Moot where she advanced to the final round. In 2019, Hayley coached the University of Toronto moot teams for both the Wilson Moot and the Willms & Shier Environmental Law Moot. Hayley was also a law student ambassador and a student mentor.
Hayley’s recent significant mandates include representing Cineworld, the UK-based cinema chain, in $2.8B M&A litigation and providing legal and strategic advice to Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment (MLSE) to shape the NHL, NBA, and MLS's COVID-19 return to play plan.
Hayley was called to the Ontario bar in 2020. She is a member of the Law Society of Ontario.
