Law School

University of Toronto

Hannah recently graduated from the University of Toronto, Faculty of Law (with Distinction) and was awarded the W.P.M. Kennedy Silver Medal for achieving the second highest cumulative average in the graduating class. Prior to law school, Hannah received her Honours Bachelor of Music (with High Distinction) from Wilfrid Laurier University, specializing in voice and music theory. Hannah worked heavily with the school’s Recruitment & Admissions Department, both as a student ambassador and as a recruiter upon graduation. She was also actively involved with Shinerama while at Wilfrid Laurier, a charity supporting cystic fibrosis research and care.

After her first year of law school, Hannah worked with the legal team at OMERS through the McCarthy Tétrault LLP / OMERS Business Law Internship. She gained exposure to a wide variety of matters, ranging from employment law to sustainable finance. The following summer, Hannah split her time between McCarthy Tétrault and a large law firm in New York City.

Hannah also developed a passion for advocacy while at law school: in 2021, she competed in the Harold G. Fox IP Moot, where she won the award for Mooting Excellence. In 2022, she competed in the Oxford International IP Moot, where she won the awards for Best Individual Speaker and Best Factum.

In her free time, Hannah enjoys singing and performing, traveling, cooking, and spending time with her rescue dog, Daphne.
