Hanna completed her Juris Doctor at the University of Toronto Faculty of Law. Born and raised in Calgary, she now calls Toronto home. Hanna holds a B.A. in Honours Political Science and a double minor in Economics and History from McGill University. Hanna is passionate about public policy and politics. She previously worked at the Canadian Embassy in Washington, D.C. and served as a political aide to Member of Parliament Marco Mendicino.
At law school, Hanna was co-captain of the ultimate frisbee team, served as a representative for the Students’ Law Society, and worked as a Research Assistant for Professor Hamish Stewart, focusing on the law of evidence. In her final year, she was awarded the course prize in Administrative Law. Hanna is particularly interested in litigation. She represented the University of Toronto at the 2019 Warren K. Winkler Class Actions Moot, and coached the school’s 2020 team.
In her spare time, Hanna enjoys being outdoors, following current events and reading fiction.
