Hakim Kassam is counsel in our Litigation Group in Toronto. He maintains a litigation practice with a focus on professional regulation.
Hakim has appeared before various Ontario courts and administrative tribunals and regularly acts for physicians in a wide range of matters. Hakim also has experience working at a large health profession College in Ontario.
Hakim received his JD from the University of Windsor in 2015. While in law school, he was awarded the Blake’s Scholar Award and the Charles J Clark Scholarship in law. Throughout law school, Hakim worked as a litigator at Community Legal Aid, representing clients on a range of matters at the Ontario Court of Justice and the Landlord Tenant Board.
Hakim obtained his BA (Hon.) from Queen’s University in Political Studies and Philosophy.
Hakim was called to the Ontario bar in 2016. He is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Canadian Bar Association and the Ontario Bar Association.
