Hailey is completing her Bachelor of Civil Law and Juris Doctor at McGill University. Prior to her legal studies, Hailey earned a Joint Honours Bachelor of Social Sciences in Political Science and Public Administration from the University of Ottawa and served as a Page at the Canadian House of Commons. She also represented Canada as a Fulbright Canada Killam Fellow at the American University in Washington D.C. After completing her undergraduate studies, Hailey worked in corporate citizenship, philanthropy, and communications for one of Canada’s largest financial institutions in Toronto.

Hailey is an advocate for access to medications for patients with rare diseases and combatting antimicrobial resistance. She is a relationship builder and has experience working with media, speaking at conferences, and meeting with public officials.

She is a recipient of the TD Scholarship for Community Leadership, the Jordan H. Waxman Scholarship, and has won many awards for her fundraising and community involvement with Cystic Fibrosis Canada. During her legal studies, Hailey produced, hosted, and edited the podcast for the McGill Journal of Law and Health and took a keen interest in courses where health and law intersect.

Hailey loves saying yes to new adventures, travelling, and immersing herself in new cultures, cuisines, and places. She loves hosting events, cooking, and advocating for the causes she holds closest to her heart, namely health equity, access to treatments, and invisible disabilities.
