Gianluca is a graduate of Osgoode Hall Law School in Toronto where he was awarded the W. Struan Robertson Q.C. Memorial Prize for academic excellence & community involvement.
While at law school, Gianluca volunteered as a mentor with Law in Action Within Schools and was the President of the Canadian-Italian Association of Osgoode. He has prior experience advising the Chair of the Toronto Music Advisory Council at City Hall, and currently sits on the Board of Directors of the St. Michael’s College School Alumni Association. He is also a student member of the Ontario Bar Association and the Canadian-Italian Advocates of Ontario.
Before entering law school, Gianluca worked at the Ontario Lottery & Gaming Corporation’s head office in contract and relationship management, advising senior leadership on its governance strategy during the organization’s modernization project. He earned a number of certifications at the OLG, including a ‘Yellow Belt’ in process improvement from Lean Six-Sigma Canada.
Gianluca also holds an Honours B.A. and M.A. in Canadian History from the University of Western Ontario, where he was the recipient of the Edwin A. Goodman Award for academic excellence.
Outside of work, Gianluca enjoys watching live music, following the Ferrari Formula-1 racing team, and supporting his beloved Toronto Maple Leafs.
