Frédérique Drainville is an associate in the Bankruptcy and Restructuring Group in Montréal. Her practice focuses mainly on restructuring, bankruptcy and insolvency, as well as banking litigation, including litigation related to bank liability and bills of exchange.
Before joining the firm, Frédérique practised in a national firm where she acted for various financial institutions, trustees and companies in the context of insolvency and banking disputes.
Frédérique holds a Master’s degree in business administration (MBA) and a Bachelor’s degree in civil law (LLB) which she obtained from Université de Sherbrooke. During her studies, she completed an internship at a banking institution, as well as an internship at the Department of Justice Canada, Department of Tax Affairs.
Frédérique was called to the Québec Bar in 2017 and she is a member of the Canadian Bar Association and the Young Bar Association of Montreal.
