Emily obtained her JD from the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. While at law school, Emily served on the executive team of the Health Law Students’ Association, volunteered with Pro Bono Dalhousie, and was an Upper Year Buddy for incoming first-year students. Most recently, she worked as a research assistant for the Public Health Law course.
Prior to attending law school, Emily obtained a Master of Science in Human Health and Nutritional Sciences and a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Biological Science from the University of Guelph where she worked on a human clinical trial and was an undergraduate teaching assistant.
In her spare time, she enjoys playing tennis and taking spin classes. As a newcomer to Alberta, she looks forward to exploring the mountains.
