Ella completed her J.D. at the Schulich School of Law, Dalhousie University, and her Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Philosophy from Queen’s University. She is a Certified Information Privacy Professional in Canada (CIPP/C).
During law school, she supported innovative start-up companies at the Technology and Innovation Law Clinic. She also wrote case briefs on technology and privacy matters for a bi-weekly publication as a Research Assistant at Schulich. In her role as Founder & President of the Schulich Law & Technology Society, Ella hosted speaker events and a pitch competition that focused on developing creative solutions to improve access to justice.
Ella’s previous experience includes working at McCarthy Tétrault with the Clients & Markets team, and at a designated accounting body as a Firms Coordinator.
