Elisa Clavier is an associate in the firm’s Litigation Group in Montréal. Her practice focuses on commercial litigation and class actions related to Securities regulation, pofessional liability, financial fraud and product liability.
Elisa has pleaded before the Superior Court and the Court of Appeal of Québec, and appeared before the Supreme Court of Canada. She also has experience defending corporations and individuals in investigations by the Quebec Securities Regulator, and by disciplinary committees such as IIROC and the Chambre de la sécurité financière.
Elisa has also acted as assistant counsel at the Court of Appeal of Québec under the Honourable Jacques Dufresne. During her studies, she worked with the L.R. Wilson Chair in Information Technology and E-Commerce Law.
Elisa obtained a BSc from Université de Montréal in 2006. In 2009, she completed her LLB at Université de Montréal and studied for a semester at Universidad Torcuato Di Tella in Argentina. Elisa was called to the Québec Bar in 2009. She is a member of the Canadian Bar Association and the Young Bar Association of Montréal.
