Daryna will be completing her final year of law school at the University of Toronto in 2019/20. Prior to law school, Daryna received an Honours Bachelor of Arts with High Distinction from the University of Toronto, and was awarded the Catherwood Scholarship for excellence in international relations.
In law school, Daryna was co-president of University of Toronto Women and the Law and worked on the Faculty newspaper, Ultra Vires, as a features editor. She also sits on the University of Toronto Academic Integrity Tribunal as a student adjudicator. Prior to law school, Daryna was active with Equal Voice, a national multi-partisan organization promoting gender equity in politics, and gained legal experience through interning at a boutique intellectual property law firm.
Daryna’s passion for advocacy fueled her interest in litigation. She participated in multiple mooting competitions, and recently won the Davies Corporate/Securities Moot, where she also received the Top Oralist award. Daryna is also part of the Moot Court Committee. Before law school, Daryna was involved in competitive debate, competing nationally for the University of Toronto.
In her spare time, Daryna enjoys strategy board games, trying new restaurants and exploring the city by bike.
