Daryna graduated from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law in 2020. While at the Faculty, she was co-president of Women and the Law and tutored first-year law students as an Academic Success Program advisor. She also served on the University of Toronto Academic Integrity Tribunal as an adjudicator, and contributed to the Faculty newspaper as a features editor.
Daryna was actively involved in the Faculty mooting program, and sat on the Moot Court Committee in her graduating year. She won and was recognized as the Top Oralist at the 2019 Davies Corporate/Securities Moot. Daryna was previously a competitive debater.
Prior to law school, Daryna received an Honours Bachelor of Arts with High Distinction from the University of Toronto, and was awarded the Robert H. Catherwood Scholarship for excellence in International Relations. During that time, she was active with Equal Voice, a national multi-partisan organization promoting gender equity in politics, and gained legal experience through interning at a boutique intellectual property law firm.
In her spare time, Daryna enjoys strategy board games, trying new restaurants and cycling around the city.
