Dan Schechner is an Associate in our Business Law Group in Toronto. He maintains a general corporate law practice focusing on private equity transactions, mergers and acquisitions, capital markets and investment funds.

Dan obtained his JD with distinction from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law, during which he completed a year-long externship with the Toronto Star’s legal team. He previously received his Bachelor of Commerce from the Desautels Faculty of Management at McGill University.

Dan was called to the Ontario bar in 2023 after summering and articling at the firm. He is a member of the Law Society of Ontario.
