Colton is a student at the University of Victoria Faculty of Law. Prior to attending law school, Colton obtained a Bachelor of Commerce specializing in International Business from the University of Victoria. During his undergraduate studies, Colton went on an international exchange to Reims, France for one semester and completed three co-op education terms, including two as a coordinator for international student programs.
As a law student, Colton is a member of the Victoria Chapter of Pro Bono Students Canada, where he performs legal research to assist local organizations. He also competed on behalf of the university in the McIntyre National Trial Advocacy Competition in 2019 and during his studies, he works as a research assistant for one of the faculty’s professors. Colton was awarded the McCarthy Tétrault Prize in Contracts for demonstrating academic excellence in his first year of law school.
Outside the office, Colton enjoys running, playing hockey, listening to rap and hip-hop music, and learning Mandarin Chinese.
