Colleen Bonnyman has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with distinction from the University of Alberta and received her Juris Doctor from the University of Calgary in June 2020. While attending law school, she volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada, tutored first-year law students, and was an editor for the Alberta Law Review. In the summer of 2018, Colleen completed an internship with the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) in Nairobi, Kenya. In her third year of law school, she spent the fall semester at Leiden University in the Netherlands before returning to complete her degree at the University of Calgary.
Colleen enjoys being outside, no matter the season, and loves to hike and downhill ski. In her spare time, she can also be found reading crime novels, watching hockey or football, and walking her family’s dogs.
Interesting Fact: This summer, Colleen went on over 20 hikes in Alberta with her family’s dog, Guinness.
