Charlotte Simard-Zakaib is an associate in our Litigation Group in Montreal. Her practice is focused on civil and commercial litigation as well as medical responsibility. Charlotte has participated in high-profile commercial litigation cases where McCarthy Tétrault represented leading corporations in their defence of claims. She has also represented physicians before civil courts and various disciplinary bodies.
During her university studies, Charlotte held a research assistant position with a professor specializing in estate law and private international law at Université de Montréal. She also held a position for four years on the financial team of a law firm in Montreal, where she developed a vivid interest in the world of business and the legal profession.
To raise awareness of philanthropy among the next generation, Charlotte is involved with the Kidney Foundation’s Succession Committee, helping organize various activities to support the Foundation in its mission of research and patient services.
Charlotte obtained her LLB from Université de Montréal in 2020, having previously completed a Bachelor of Business Administration from HEC Montréal in 2017.
She was called to the Quebec Bar in 2021.
