Cassiopée has completed a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Law at the University of Quebec, Montreal (UQAM). In addition to her studies, she was a member of the Board of Directors of the UQAM’s Legal Clinic and a lecturer and mentor for the Law Mentoring Center.
As a law student, Cassiopée was recognized as one of the most outstanding female students by the Department of Legal Studies. This honour conferred her a place in a seminar presented in collaboration with the International Association of Women Judges. She also won the Yvon Blais Editions Award for the excellence of her results in Civil Liability.
Before embarking upon her law degree at UQAM, Cassiopée completed a Bachelor’s degree of Pharmacology and a Master’s degree in Health Law, both at the University of Sherbrooke. In addition, she completed a Master II in Law and Governance of Health establishments at the University of Montpellier. During her study in Montpellier, she participated in the redaction of a collective mémoire on the impact of The Great War of 1914-1918 on health law, for which she won first place at the Concours du Centenaire 2018. As part of the Pharmacology curriculum, she performed a clinical study to evaluate the impact of performing brain surgery on the quality of life of patients suffering from brain tumors (glioblastoma).
