Brittany Cerqua is an associate in our Litigation Group in Toronto. She maintains a broad litigation practice with an emphasis on corporate commercial litigation, securities litigation, banking litigation and professional liability. 

While in law school, Brittany served as a Teaching Assistant in contract law and as a Research Assistant for the late Professor Ian Kerr, whose research focused on emerging law and technology issues. She also co-founded the Ottawa Law Chapter of the First Generation Network, which aims to provide resources to those who are the first in their family to attend post-secondary school. Brittany currently acts as the Chief Strategy Officer for the First Generation Network's non-profit organization. 

Brittany obtained a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Criminology from Ryerson University as well as a Masters in Socio-Legal Studies from York University. She received her Juris Doctor from the Faculty of Law at the University of Ottawa in 2019. 

Brittany was called to the Ontario bar in 2020. She is a member of the Law Society of Ontario.
