Anouk is partner in our Litigation Group and, more precisely, in our Medical Law team. She represents physicians for the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA).
Anouk has extensive experience in litigation and legal matters, notably in the areas of civil and professional liability, health, protection of personal information and insurance. She has also worked in the areas of disciplinary law, administrative law and penal law.
Over her career, Anouk has appeared before trial and appeal courts, as well as administrative tribunals and quasi-judicial bodies.
Moreover, her professional career in various organizations, including as director and vice-president of legal affairs at a well-known financial institution, has enabled her to build a strong expertise in management, class actions, inquiries and incidents.
Known for her great team spirit, her human approach and her multi-skilling, Anouk is not only results oriented but is also devoted to guiding and supporting her clients. She analyses each case in order to find the best approach, the most efficient strategy and the optimal solution.
Anouk obtained her degree in Law (LL.L.) at the University of Ottawa in 1994.
She has been a member and is currently the Chair of the Committee for the Promotion and Use of Dispute Prevention and Resolution Methods of the Quebec Bar.
She has acted as a speaker and moderator at numerous events and training sessions, including those sponsored by the Quebec Bar and various associations linked to the health and insurance industries.
