Anna Zhang has completed her first year of law school at the University of Toronto Faculty of Law. She also holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Business Economics & Law (with distinction) from the University of Alberta. During her undergraduate degree, Anna was a teaching assistant for an introductory business course, the President of the University of Alberta Marketing Association, and ran her own piano studio business. Anna also volunteered for three years as a court mentor for female youth with the Elizabeth Fry Society of Edmonton.
While in law school, Anna has been involved as a student volunteer for Downtown Legal Services and Artists’ Legal Advice Services. She also works with University of Toronto’s International Human Rights Program and Amnesty International, using open source intelligence methods to authenticate potential human rights abuses. Anna also represented the University of Toronto at the Hockey Arbitration Competition of Canada in November 2019.
