Angela M. Juba is counsel in our Litigation Group in Vancouver. She maintains a general litigation practice focussed on complex commercial litigation. She has appeared as counsel at the Supreme Court of Canada, at all levels of court in British Columbia, and before a provincial commission of inquiry.
Freedom of information and protection of privacy matters:
Angela helps clients to navigate Canada’s federal and provincial freedom of information and protection of privacy schemes. She advises clients who are seeking information, defending against disclosure of sensitive corporate material, or addressing privacy concerns.
Angela advises clients defending product liability claims, including class actions and complex multi-party litigation. She also has experience advising clients on product recalls and regulations.
Angela has experience in a wide variety of public law matters. She has significant experience in constitutional litigation involving the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms. She also advises clients involved in criminal and quasi-criminal investigations and public inquiries.
Angela is fluent in English and French. Prior to joining the firm, she served as a Law Clerk to the Honourable Mr. Justice Ian Binnie of the Supreme Court of Canada.
