Alexander recently completed his first year of law school at the Schulich School of Law, Dalhousie University. Before law school, he earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a Major in Accounting from Dalhousie. His previous work experience spanned a number of organizations across various industries including financial services, accounting, telecommunications, transportation, and law.

Alexander is a strong believer in community volunteering, as evidenced by his involvement with several Calgary charitable causes and through the mentoring of undergraduate students. 

He also enjoys Formula 1 racing, golf, and trying new and diverse restaurants in his spare time.
