Adina obtained her LLB (Bachelor of Laws) from SOAS University of London and a postgraduate degree Legal Practice Course from BPP University Law School. While at university Adina qualified as a semi-finalist at the Aspiring Solicitors’ Commercial Awareness Competition (2018).
Adina has a keen interest in emerging technologies (including artificial intelligence and blockchain). Prior to joining McCarthy Tétrault she worked for a cryptocurrency start-up and later interned with one of the leading DLT platforms in the financial services industry.
Adina is a member of the firm’s CyberData and FinTech groups and has contributed to a number of firm’s blogs including the Canadian pre-authorised debt rules and guidance on the application of financial market principles to stablecoins.
In her spare time, Adina enjoys traveling, boxing and the outdoors.
