Karl Tabbakh elected Chair of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce

McCarthy Tétrault congratulates Karl Tabbakh, Regional Managing Partner for Québec and Co-Leader of the Firm’s International & Business Strategy, on his one-year appointment as Chair of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce (CCC).

Karl first joined the CCC’s Board in 2017 with a vision for the future and a desire to bring a diverse and passionate voice to the Board. Since joining, Karl has undertaken numerous leadership roles including chair of the Board’s Policy Committee, chair of the Board’s Task Force on Diversity and Inclusion, and most recently, Vice-Chair of the Board of Directors where he championed the CCC’s extensive expansion strategy, including an initiative to grow its capabilities, presence and team in the province of Quebec.

This latest appointment to Chair speaks volumes about Karl’s entrepreneurial spirit, strength as a leader and unwavering commitment to the Canadian Chamber of Commerce and its mandate to help Canadian businesses succeed. As Chair, Karl will continue to lead positive change within the organization – particularly with regard to diversity and inclusion – and ensure the CCC is well positioned to support Canadian businesses today and into the future.
