In Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health, the Supreme Court of the United States is considering the constitutionality of Mississippi’s Gestational Age Act, which bans abortions after the first 15 weeks of pregnancy. At issue is the status of Roe v. Wade, which established constitutional protection for abortion rights in America and has been reaffirmed multiple times over the course of the last half-century. The unprecedented leak of a draft Supreme Court opinion earlier this month has put the case squarely in the world’s consciousness.

Please join us for our special virtual event with Alexia D. Korberg, Partner at Paul, Weiss and co-counsel for Jackson Women’s Health Organization, Mississippi’s only abortion clinic. Alexia will be in conversation with McCarthy Tétrault’s Awanish Sinha about the background of the case, the battle at the Supreme Court, and the ramifications of the coming decision.
