Knowing that diversity and inclusion are important, and knowing where to begin when creating a diversity and inclusion program or strategy, are two different things. Many workplaces know that D+I is both the right thing and the smart thing to do, but simply don’t know where to start. If your organization is at or near the beginning of your diversity and inclusion journey, this is the program for you.

In this webinar Michael Bach, Founder and CEO of the Canadian Center for Diversity and Inclusion (CCDI) and author of the book Birds of all Feathers: Doing Diversity and Inclusion Right, will share his thoughts on the importance of building a diverse and inclusive workplace, and how to get started on creating one.

Topics to be discussed include:

  • What is the business case for diversity and inclusion?
  • What is the difference between diversity and inclusion?
  • What are leading practices in developing a diversity and inclusion strategy?

This session will include a seminar led by Michael, an interview with Michael conducted by McCarthy Tétrault’s Chief Inclusion Officer, Nikki Gershbain, and a Q+A where both Michael and Nikki will answer your questions.

Note: The presentation will take place online and will be presented in English only. Instructions and information on how to access the webinar will be forwarded a few days prior to the event.
