- Supreme Court of Canada: Is provincial legislation regulating the possession and cultivation of cannabis plants constitutionally invalid on ‘division of powers’ grounds?
- Federal: Federal Court of Appeal’s latest jurisprudence on the method of Charter interpretation
- Ontario/Atlantic: Court of Appeal for Ontario’s decision on the duty of honest contractual performance and the presumption of loss
- Quebec: The Quebec Court of Appeal decides whether to stay proceedings in favour of a single common issue proceeding for national class actions
- Western Canada: BC Court of Appeal broadens the test for discrimination in employment based on family status
