Saudi-Dow Chemical US$20 Billion Chemical Plant Going Ahead

On February 17, 2015, Sadara Chemical Company announced it expected to start production within the year at the US$20 billion Sadara chemical complex in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. The Sadara project is the world's largest chemicals manufacturing facility built in a single phase, with 26 integrated world-scale manufacturing plants, over 3 million metric tons of capacity per year.
Sadara Chemical Company is a joint venture between Saudi Aramco and The Dow Chemical Company.
