Innergex Renewable Energy enters into definitive agreement to be acquired by CDPQ for C$10B

On February 24, 2025, Innergex Renewable Energy Inc. ("Innergex") announced that they have entered into a definitive agreement to be acquired by CDPQ for C$10 billion. Following the transaction, Innergex's shareholders will receive $13.75 in cash per share.
Innergex, based in Longueuil, Quebec, is an independent renewable power producer which develops, acquires, owns and operates hydroelectric facilities, wind farms, solar farms and energy storage facilities with operations in Canada, the United States, France, and Chile.
