Community Trust Company successful in statutory appeal from Commissioner of the Financial Consumer Agency of Canada

We assisted Community Trust Company ("CTC") with a statutory appeal from the Commissioner of the Financial Consumer Agency of Canada to the Federal Court, where CTC was successful in setting aside a C$1.6 million administrative monetary penalty, in reasons delivered on January 15, 2026.
