Canada Pension Plan Investment Board to acquire Antares Capital from GE Capital Corporation for US$12B

On August 21st, 2015, Canada Pension Plan Investment Board announced that an affiliate of its wholly owned subsidiary, CPPIB Credit Investments Inc. had completed the acquisition from GE Capital of 100% of GE Capital’s sponsor lending portfolio unit , Antares Capital, for a total consideration of US$12 billion.
