As a Public Issuer Analyst, you will:

  • Provide independent professional support services in connection with Canadian public issuer continuous disclosure obligations.
  • Work with technology solutions to assist with the preparation and filing of continuous disclosure documents.
  • Prepare, draft and/or oversee completion of some or all of the following documents under the supervision of a lawyer and with the support of a legal paraprofessional: Management Proxy Materials, Annual Information Forms, Management’s Discussion & Analysis (MD&A), press releases and material change reports, other continuous disclosure, insider and TSX/TSXV filings, and other documents supplemental to or in support of those above.
  • Ensure quality and accuracy of work, and ensure work is completed within reasonable time frames.
  • Enter time charges on a timely basis using prescribed firm and departmental procedures.

As our ideal candidate, you will have:

  • A Bachelors and/or Masters degree in Business Administration or similar.
  • Experience with public company disclosure would be an asset.
  • Strong writing skills, including the ability to synthesize factual information into clear and concise written disclosure.
  • Ability to multi-task, organize documentation and adhere to multiple deadlines.
  • Solid computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat, and ability to keep up-to-date with changes in technology and latest information.
  • Exceptional client service orientation and the ability to work effectively with individuals across the Firm.
