The Calgary Office of McCarthy Tétrault LLP seeks a highly-motivated lawyer to join our national Business Law Group with a focus on Energy. The successful candidate will join a team which provides a full range of legal advice to clients in the energy and infrastructure industries.

The ideal candidate is motivated by excellent work and highly engaged colleagues and appreciates superior technology and other support.  The candidate will have:

  • A minimum of two years of post-call corporate and commercial law experience, with a preference for candidates with oil and gas, electricity or renewables mandates;
  • Excellent academic and professional credentials;
  • Strong analytical, communication and drafting skills; and
  • A demonstrated commitment to teamwork and client service excellence.

The successful applicant will work closely with leading lawyers and be part of a top-tier team providing sophisticated legal advice to a diverse range of Albertan, Canadian and international clients.
