Steve Mason to Lead McCarthy Tétrault’s Intellectual Property Litigation Group
Toronto, November 2, 2016 —Steve Mason has been appointed leader of McCarthy Tétrault’s IP Litigation group in a move that supports increased synergy between all aspects of our IP law practice and an unparalleled litigation practice. Under Steve’s new leadership, the IP Litigation group will continue to provide the same standard for success that has defined their results.
Steve is a partner in our Litigation Group with a focus on intellectual property and related disputes. An experienced trial and appellate lawyer, he has represented clients before courts across Canada and in the United States, including in cases before the Canadian and United States Supreme Court. Steve currently acts as counsel on some of the largest intellectual property cases in Canada, including most recently as lead counsel to Bell Canada in a patent infringement action involving its Bell Fibe TV service.
