McCarthy Tétrault’s Nathalie Gagnon receives the Pro Bono Rajpattie-Persaud Award

Montréal, June 4, 2015 – McCarthy Tétrault wishes to congratulate Nathalie Gagnon, partner in the Labour & Employment Group. Last night, during the Presidential Dinner of the Québec Branch of the Canadian Bar Association, Ms. Gagnon received the Rajpattie-Persaud Award in recognition of her exceptional contribution to the welfare of her community.

The Rajpattie-Persaud Award recognizes Ms. Gagnon’s devotion. For more than twenty years, she has been committed to helping sick children at Sainte‑Justine Hospital. Ms. Gagnon also sits on the board of directors of Collège Sainte-Anne. Since 2012, she has volunteered with The Lighthouse, Children and Families, an organization through which she visits a seriously ill little girl at home every week.

Ms. Gagnon’s practice is focused on matters related to labour standards, employment agreements, employment policies, wrongful dismissal actions, employee terminations, human rights, privacy and access to information. She represents both provincially and federally regulated employers before various administrative tribunals as well as before the civil courts and labour arbitrators. She is regularly involved in mediation, conciliation and other alternate dispute resolution processes.
