McCarthy Tétrault’s Mathieu Laflamme appointed Québec City Office Lead

Québec City, October 5, 2015 — McCarthy Tétrault is pleased to announce that Mathieu Laflamme, partner in the Business Law Group, has been appointed Québec City Office Lead. In this capacity, Mr. Laflamme joins McCarthy Tétrault’s management team for the Québec region and will represent the firm in initiatives and activities related to the Québec City office, while continuing his practice full-time.

As part of his practice, Mr. Laflamme has advised on a number of Canadian and cross-border acquisitions, and acts for public and private companies as well as institutional investors in a variety of domestic and foreign commercial transactions, such as the implementation of ownership structures in connection with energy and infrastructure projects. Mr. Laflamme is also involved with a number of private equity and venture capital investors and fund managers. He was called to the Québec Bar in 2002, and is listed as a leading lawyer in Corporate Mid-Market and Private Equity in the most recent edition of The Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory.
