McCarthy Tétrault’s Atrisha Lewis selected as a DiverseCity Fellow

Toronto, February 9, 2018 — McCarthy Tétrault warmly congratulates Atrisha Lewis, associate in the firm’s Litigation Group, who was recently selected by the CivicAction Leadership Foundation as a 2018 DiverseCity Fellow.

The DiverseCity Fellow program is a highly sought-after leadership and skills development opportunity, which helps a select number of diversity and inclusion advocates in the Toronto Region to make meaningful change in their community.

DiverseCity Fellows are individuals from a wide range of professional, cultural and community backgrounds. They are described as “civic-minded rising leaders” whose goal is to grow their skills and jump-start their journeys as leaders in the community. Atrisha is one of only 25 people to be added to the highly competitive program this year.

In her five years at McCarthy Tétrault, Atrisha has quickly developed a strong litigation practice, appearing before all levels of the court in Ontario, the Federal Court, and the Federal Court of Appeal. She has consistently demonstrated her commitment to leadership in the law profession, including lecturing at the University of Toronto Faculty of Law on topics such as motions and litigation strategy. She generously makes time to be a mentor within the firm and in her community. Atrisha is also a frequent speaker on topics related to diversity, which she is passionate about.
